DEPARTMENT - Art: Area of Emphasis

Area of Emphasis - ART

Students are required to plan and complete a 2.5 credit program of study or area of emphasis. In preparation for further study beyond high school or for careers in the art and design field, students may wish to plan a program with an art emphasis.

Art courses may also be combined with other areas of the curriculum to facilitate a combined area of emphasis. 07158 Art and Design is required before a student selects more specialized courses of art study.

Students are encouraged to work with a member of the art staff to plan a program of study that will meet their post-high school goals.
