COURSE # 11266 Prodction
Art and Design
This is a vocational art course designed for the student who wants to
explore art and design posters, album covers, t-shirts, logos and other
forms of graphic design. Technical skills are stressed and key lining
(producing camera-ready art) is taught. A Macintosh computer is available
as an art and design tool. Students' designs are often selected, printed
and utilized by actual clients form the community. During this course,
the students will build a portfolio for job interview or art school placement.
Not: Students must travel to Huron for this course. This course meets
for two periods per day for the entire year and may be repeated for credit.
Grade: 9, 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: 07158 Art and Design
Credits: .50 unit per semester
