COURSE # 07161 Jewelry Design
This course teaches students about the design and creation of original
jewelry. Basic design skills are taught. Sequentially planned assignments
assist students in developing quality designs and well-crafted jewelry.
Through these experiences, it is hoped that students acquire an appreciation
for past and present jewelry forms and a pride in their own accomplishments.
Grade: 9, 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: 07158 Art and Design
Credits: .50 unit per semester
