CARE OF SCHOOL PROPERTY
Athletes assume a financial obligation for all school equipment issued to them, including losses due to theft. Athletes have a duty to make restitution for lost or stolen equipment. A student’s registration in subsequent semesters of school (or graduation activities for seniors) may be delayed until athletic obligations have been cleared.
To help prevent thefts, students are asked to procure and use a high quality, hardened steel padlock both in the locker room at Huron and when on the road. Money, jewelry, and other valuables should be left at home. A student’s registration in subsequent semesters may be delayed until athletic obligations have been cleared.
An athlete in unauthorized possession of an item of school equipment (our own or any other school's) will be immediately suspended from the athletic program.
