Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My book needs repair. What do I do?
A: Yes, bring it to the Book Depository. If we cannot fix it, we will issue you another textbook.

Q: I turned in a book? Why do I have to pay?
A: Sometimes the book you turned in might not have been the specific book that you were issued. Lots of students share lockers, rides, or study groups, for example, and pick up a book belonging to another student. When a book is returned it is credited to the orgininal borrower. So if the book that was issued to you has not been returned, you are responsible and must submit payment.

Q: My book wasn't new when it was issued to me. Why do I have to pay full price?
A: You will have to pay the replacement cost for the missing/damaged books because that is the cost that the school will have to pay to replace it.

Q: My student received a notice that his/her obligation has not been cleared, but I have proof that it has.  Why is this obligation(s) still showing on my students record?
A: The obligation is still showing on your students record because
he/she never gave turned in the receipt from the main office.
Because the receipt was never given to the book depository we have
no proof that the book(s) were paid for.
