From March 24-27, the Huron Business Professionals of America (BPA) Chapter traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan to compete in the annual BPA State Leadership Conference 2011.
Diane Stocker-Bendersky, Christy Garrett, Brandon Jackson, Karen Eisley, and Dorothea Bryant took 52 students to the State BPA Leadership Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A big shout out of CONGRATULATIONS to our business rats .
They brought home 44 well deserved awards. Among these, 5 were state championships which included team and individual events, and 5 others were either second or third place awards as well as other place awards.
The Huron BPA Chapter is proud to announce 5 torch award recipients: Jing Chai, Amy Chang, Sheeba Pawar, and Douglas Yang.
Overall, 27 students qualified to attend the National Leadership Conference to be held in Washington, D.C.
Congratulations to Diane Stocker-Bendersky, BPA Chapter Advisor. She was recognized for her 20 years of dedication and service to the BPA Organization. She was also awarded the prestigious Barbara Chambers Outstanding Advisor Award 2011 for her faith, inspiration, and personal exemplary service to Business Professionals of America organization.
