Huron Business Professionals of America (BPA) members
sweep Regional Competition 2006 (updated)

 The Huron Business Professionals of America (BPA) received an astounding number of placements at the Region 6 Leadership Conference held Friday, January 6, 2006 at Washtenaw Community College.  Over 20 schools participated in the day-long event.

Of the 54 members in the club 47 competed.  Out of 47 members,  45 members placed 7^th or better in their events.  Members participated in wide range of individual and team events relating to Business. A total of 73 awards were given.   Three of our teams placed 1^st in their events and 1 of our teams placed 2^nd in their events.  Four members also received the Diplomat Torch Award – Anna Liu, Gerri Zhang, Lola Liu, and Joyce Loh.

In total, there were 26 1^st places, 13 2^nd, 14 3^rd, 5 4^th, 7 5^th, 3 6^th, and 1 7th.  Members placing 6^th or better will advance to the State Leadership Conference at the Grand Amway Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan --March 16-19, 2006.
