Career Pathways helps students to:

See how school subjects and courses relate to the world of work
Makes classes more interesting and meaningful
Discover their strengths and weaknesses
Open their mind to new careers and job opportunities
Understand the kinds of education and skills needed be successful
Define a career of their interest and passion
Select right college or university for them
 
Students should:

Do everything they can to focus on their future!
Go to class every day on time and with a good attitude
Study hard and do their best in school
Become actively involved in extra-curricular activities
Talk with parents and other adults about jobs and job-related responsibilities
Talk with counselors and teachers, administrators, mentors, and coaches
Participate in career and college fairs
Participate in internships in the career area of your interest
Participate in job shadaowing in the career area of your interest
Contact the COE office to get a paying job in the area of your interest
Visit the Career Resource Center often
