C.O.E
Students are required to work an average of 15 hours per week and receive classroom training through a related class (Auto Service Tech., Business Applications, Cosmetology, Graphic Arts, Health Occupations, Homebuilding, and Marketing). Students work at Pfizer, City of Ann Arbor, U of M, and other local employers. Students receive 1 credit per semester for working.

Work Experience
Students are required to work an average of 10 hours per week and are not required to take a related course. Jobs vary and many students enter the program with their own job. Students receive 0.5 credit per semester for Work Experience.

Internships
Students are required to work 5 hours per week. The positions may be paid or unpaid and must be career related. Internships must be approved by a Coordinator. Students receive 0.5 credit per semester for working.
