Plan ahead to meet with your counselor and plan out your 4-year plan. Meet with parents, counselor to work out a strategy of courses that will help you meet your favorite college entrance requirements. Think about taking an AP course. Learn more about College Board Tests and requirements. Get involved in school club and activities. Explore school leadership roles. Get involved in school sports activities. Plan on getting involved in community service projects. Make a contribution. Plan to visit the Career Resource Center to explore career interests. Take an interest or personality survey to help you discover your strengths, learning preferences, motivations and opportunities. Line up your summer activities, if you haven't already. What types of jobs or projects would look good on your college application and let you explore your interests?
