BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

During grades 9–12, each student must earn one credit in biological sciences.

Credit earned in any of the following courses may be applied toward the one-credit biological sciences requirement.

Biology 1,2
Biology 1,2 AP
Ecology/Resources Management 1,
2 (PHS only)
Independent Study in Biology
Cosmetology †
Foundation & Science (CHS only)
Health Sciences Technology II

*Course not currently offered under this title.
†A maximum of one credit of Cosmetology may be applied toward the biological sciences requirement.
††Up to one credit of Health Sciences may be applied toward the biological sciences requirement.
No student shall be allowed to use Career and Technical Education courses to fulfill more than one credit of the two-credit science requirement.

PHYSICAL SCIENCES

During grades 9–12, each student must earn one credit in physical sciences.

Credit earned in any of the following courses may be applied toward
the one-credit physical sciences requirement.

Foundations of Science 1
Aerospace 1
Applied Physical Science, 1, 2 (HHS only)
Physical Science 1, 2 AC
Earth Science 1, 2
Chemistry 1, 2AP
Climatology, Meterology & Geology
