The Mole Shuffle
The atom and the molecule
Are so very light
If I use the AMU
My mass is always right
These two units are so small
In the lab they can't be used.
The mole is what we choose instead
So we don't remain confused.

My goal is to learn 'bout the mole
That the mole is the heart and soul
Of Stoichiometry, and all of Chemistry!!

The volume of all gases
In liters they must be
22.4 per mole
If it's STP
With STP for reference
Anything the V can be
Proportion is my preference
To vary the T or P

When I try to count the mole
I'm as busy as a bee.
Always 6.02 x 1023.
Whatever is the element
Is no difference to me
We know we can apply this count
To anything we can see

When I try to weigh the mole
The Table is my guide
Each element is different
With GRAMS I'm satisfied.
Compound masses we combine
Each formula will decide
I multiply and find the sum
With a PC by my side.
