COURSE # 01333/01334  African American Cultural Humanities
This course is designed for students interested in modern literature. They study modern classics, popular fiction, science fiction, personal narrative, and contemporary poetry. Students with formal papers related to issues raised in the readings and class discussion. Outside readings based on themes selected by the teacher are required.

Grade: 11, 12

Prerequisite: Junior Status

Credits: .50 unit per semester
