COURSE # 01106 English as a Second Language
This course is designed for students whose first language is not Englsih. The course emphasizes speaking, reading and writing. There is specific instruction and practice in oral and written vocabulary and grammar.
Grade: 9, 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: District eligibility guidelines. Eligibility may be determined through standarized testing or teacher recommendation.
