| HURON'S POETRY SLAM 2010 |
|
Last night's poetry slam was amazing! We had 26 poets put up their talent, and it was an impossible job, but we will send nine poets on to the city-wide slam on Thursday, March 25, 2010.
Brittany Callahan, Robert Axelrod, Kylie Power-Sullivan, Abi Dressel will join Yaz Schumar and Isaiah Peet-Blakeney, who tied for fourth place, third place Allison Punch, second place Haley Patail, and the winner of Huron's 2010 Poetry Slam, Katie Marenghi! and These students will compete for six coveted spots on the team that goes to Los Angeles for the national slam. Come on out to the Neutral Zone in two weeks to support our kids! |
