COURSE # 01175 Television and Radio Production
Students learn about radio and television by writing, direct, reading, acting, and crewing radio and television productions. They learn to understand these media regarding their role, scope, practices, and techniques as providers of news, information, education, entertainment, and sports. Moreover, students develop visual literacy, i.e., they learn criteria by which they can evaluate what they hear and view regarding its value relative to its purpose. This course may be used to meet the speech requirement.
