The Faculty Committee's aim is to provide leadership by elected faculty
members in developing school policies and accomplishing school business
jointly with the administration. Matters of curriculum, advocacy, and contract
obligations are specifically assigned to other bodies.

The committee shall consist of twelve faculty members, elected at large,
for three year terms. To provide continuity, four members shall be elected
each year in May. The principal shall be a member of the committee.

The committee shall elect a chairperson each year and adopt rules of procedure.
It shall form ad hoc or standing sub-committees it shall deem necessary
and may include parents, students, administrators, another faculty as members
of these sub committees.
4.
The Faculty Committee will meet on the first Thursday
of each month in the Principal's Conference Room. Meetings may be added
or canceled at the committee's discretion. All meetings shall be open and
shall include hearing concerns from any member of the Huron Community.
