VISITORS TO HURON

In general, Huron discourages students from bringing student visitors to school. Students may not bring young children into the building during the school day. All visitors must sign in at the General Office upon entering the building and receive a visitor’s pass and name tag.

Visitors who drive vehicles must stop at the General Office to receive a pass to place in their vehicle when visiting the school building.

All visitors must report to the General Office and get approval to visit a classroom. The teacher will be contacted prior to approval being granted. Staff who encounter visitors on campus are to direct them to the General Office. Visitors should not come to a classroom unannounced.
