| Orchestra Annual Events Winter Concert The Orchestras will have a concert in late November in Paul K. Meyers Auditorium. Orchestra Night The Symphony Orchestra performs at this annual concert at Hill Auditorium showcasing the top orchestras from Ann Arbor’s Schools. Biennial Musical The Symphony Orchestra performs in the pit for school musicals when they occur. Solo & Ensemble This annual competition is popular with the string players.

The ensembles perform in front of judges and receive rating on a scale of I - V ( with I being the best), according to quality of performance. In addition to prepared orchestral numbers, the group also participates in a sight reading segment. Concerto Concert An annual audition process is used to select top music soloists to perform with the Symphony Orchestra at this wonderful spring concert. |
