NAAPID National African American Parent Involvement Day
Huron Staff and Students would like to invite all of our parents to visit our school on Monday, February 8, 2010 to celebrate National African American Parent Involvement Day.
What is NAPPID?
NAAPID was started eight years ago to enhance student learning by linking the efforts of children, parents and the school. The focus of NAAPID is for parents, to connect with what is happening in their children's classrooms.
By visiting their children in the classroom, parents can learn more about the curriculum, demonstrate the value they place on a good education and learn about academic and behavioral expectations at Huron. Involvement
Parents are always welcome to visit Huron, and we hope many of you will be able to join us Monday, February 8, 2010. Visit our agenda on line for the day's activities. Please come for whatever part of the day your schedule will permit.
Huron High School looks forward to welcoming all of you Monday, February 8, 2010. See you there!
