Philosophy |

The Physical Education Department of Huron high is in agreement with the Huron Mission Statement which states that Huron "is to provide students with the environment and educational experiences that will empower them to take responsibility for their lives, and the world in which they live. Our primary goal is to help students help themselves. It is important that students take control and responsibility for their lifestyle. Our intent and commitment is to motivate the students to become physically active, more importantly, we want the students to develop an attitude that values participation in meaningful physical activity. We believe strongly in the student ability to take charge of the health and physical fitness aspects of their life. |
