The Special Education Department of Huron High School is in agreement with the Huron Mission Statement which states that Huron'"..is to provide students with the environment and educational experiences that will empower them to take responsibility for their lives, and the world in which they live." The Special Education Service Delivery Model at Huron High School is based on the belief that students benefit from an environment which maximizes the interaction of all students through the general education curriculum and all co-curricular activities. We believe that students learn best in the least restrictive, most appropriate environment. The entire student body benefits cognitively, affectively, and socially from integrated interaction. |
