Huron has a wide variety of technology available to staff and students. Most of this technology is courtesy of the Ann Arbor voters who passed a Technology Bond.

Principals, Teachers, Counselors and several other AAEA members received new Aluminum MacBooks in May and June of 2009.

Secretarial staff will be getting new flat panel iMacs for the start of the 2009-2010 school year.

Several of our older laptop carts containing pre-bond iBooks will be replaced with new White MacBooks over the 2009 summer break.

We have a total of 16 laptop carts available to the teaching staff for student instructional use. One cart is used by the Media Center for student use within the Media Center. Another is for teacher instructional use within the Media Center. Twelve additional carts are available for checkout by teachers for student use within the classrooms.

Many of our classrooms have eMacs in them at the request of the teacher. We also have several several eMac labs available for use by the teachers. Both labs have 36 computers and a printer available. One is in the Media Center and the other is in room 3205.

Also in the building, are 5 instructional classroom labs. We have one eMac Graphic lab and 4 Gateway labs designated to the Business and Career & Tech Ed classes.

Additional technology within the building includes ceiling mounted projectors, soundfield systems and DVD\VCR combos in almost every classroom.
